History
From its humble beginnings in a basement workshop in Lower Québec City in 1995, MYCO ANNA has grown into an internationally renowned label.
Over the last fifteen years, over 1,000 unique, award-winning pieces have been created. MYCO ANNA, a pioneer in environmentally sound and ethical fashion, makes further inroads into the responsible fashion market, one woman at a time!
| 1995 | The MYCO ANNA label is founded. |
| 1999 | MYCO ANNA wins a grant from the Matinée Fashion Foundation’s cross-Canada competition. The label wins grants again in 2000 and 2002. |
| 2000 | Christiane Garant becomes co-owner and business development director of the MYCO ANNA label. |
| 2001 | The first MYCO ANNA boutique opens on Saint-Vallier Ouest in Québec City. |
| 2003 | Christiane Garant becomes the label’s owner, president and head of design. |
| 2005 | MYCO ANNA wins the Ville de Québec award from the Conseil des métiers d’art du Québec for the quality and originality of its products. |

2007 |
The MYCO ANNA Maison de Couture, its new flagship store and a showroom at 615 Saint-Vallier Ouest in Québec City are inaugurated. The new spaces total nearly 3,200 square feet. |
| The label designs costumes for the Ionesco play Rhinoceros, presented at Montréal’s Théâtre du Nouveau Monde. | |

| 2008 | The Montreal MYCO ANNA boutique opens at 4660 Saint-Laurent. |
| Christiane Garant is spokeswoman for the Salon ModEthik, held at the Montréal Biosphere. | |
| 2009 |
MYCO ANNA is chosen by the National Geographic Society and the City of Montréal to appear on the Island of Montréal’s first geotourism MapGuide under the Geotourism Charter published by the National Geographic Society’s Center for Sustainable Destinations. |
| 2010 |
While MYCO ANNA designs are distributed at 90 points of sale in Canada and Europe, the company changes direction to focus on free-standing boutiques. |
| Christiane Garant is named Québec City’s Young Business Personality 2009 by the Young Chamber of Commerce of Québec City. | |
| Christiane Garant is selected as a Le Soleil/Radio-Canada Laureate. | |
| A new MYCO ANNA jewellery collection is launched. | |
| The MYCO ANNA Place de la Cité boutique opens at 2600 Laurier in Québec City. |
