About Myco Anna

Since its inception in 1995, the fashion design house Myco Anna has provided concrete manifestos on the state of our planet through every item it produces. Each is made, either wholly or in part, of recycled and equitably traded materials.

Since 2000 Christiane Garant, owner and head designer, has carved her niche in the ethical fashion field in Canada. She produces more than 50 new designs of clothing and accessories for women each year. In addition to the flagship boutique in Quebec City and the new one in Montreal on St-Laurent street, the Myco Anna label can be found in more than 80 points of sale across Canada, the United States, France, Holland and Japan, and at the virtual location: www.boutiquemycoanna.com.

Many celebrities proudly wear Myco Anna creations: Actors Marie Turgeon, Marina Orsini, Sophie Lorain, Danielle Proulx, Macha Grenon and Isabelle Blais; singer Jorane; broadcasters Patricia Paquin and Claudine Prévost, to name but a few. Laure Waridel, a pioneer of equitable trade and responsible consumerism, and co-founded Équiterre, endorses Myco Anna’s social mission by wearing the label during public appearances. The creations become a means to express and affirm respect for the environment as an authentic lifestyle.

Core Values

Beyond the choice of raw materials used, Myco Anna is committed to keeping both product manufacturing and management of the business local and equitable. What’s more, all involved are passionate about what they do. Myco Anna is more than a label: It’s a way of telling the world that even the tiniest detail counts when it comes to fashioning a better planet.
